Privacy notice

This notice explains which personal data the Kupon Plus website (www.kupon.plus) processes, why, for how long, and what your rights are. It covers this website only; the Kupon Plus service for clients and partners is covered by their contracts.

Kupon Plus is a service of Betiware Enterprises j.s.a., which is the controller of the personal data described here.

When you visit a page

With every request, our web server receives your IP address, the address of the page, the time, and the type and settings of your browser. We use them only to deliver the page and to protect the website against misuse (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The server does not store your IP address or browser details in a log; it records only the time, the address of the page and the result of each request.

The website runs on servers of Amazon Web Services in Frankfurt, Germany.

Cookies and storage in your browser

  • kp_lang (cookie, 1 year): the language you chose in the language switcher, so the home page opens in that language next time. It is set only when you use the switcher and is necessary for that choice to work.
  • helloweb-consent (browser storage, not sent to any server): your answer in the consent window. A consent is kept for 180 days and a refusal for 7 days; then we ask again. It is necessary for the consent to work.
  • _ga and _ga_<ID> (cookies, up to 2 years): set by Google Analytics, and only after you allow analytics.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with the Cookie settings button at the top of this page, or by deleting the website's data in your browser.

Google Analytics

If you allow analytics, we measure visits with Google Analytics 4 to see which pages people read and how they find them (your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Without your consent the Google Analytics script is not loaded at all.

  • The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA, which is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
  • Google Signals and ad personalisation are switched off, so the data is not linked to your Google account or used for advertising.
  • We see aggregated reports only. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses.
  • The data is kept for 14 months.

Icons from Font Awesome

Most pages display icons from Font Awesome. To show them, your browser loads them from the servers of Fonticons, Inc., USA, which receive your IP address and browser details. We use this to display the website as designed (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The Developers page does not load these icons.

When you contact us

The contact form does not send anything itself. It prepares an e-mail in your mail app, and only you send it, to contact@betiware.com. We use what you write (name, e-mail, company, message) to answer you and, if you wish, to prepare a cooperation (steps before a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, or our legitimate interest in answering, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep it as long as we need it for that and, if we start working together, for the time the contract and the law require.

Developers page

The tokens you type on the Developers page stay only in the memory of the open browser tab; they are not stored in cookies, in browser storage or in the address. If you use Try it out or Run this case, your browser sends the call directly to the Kupon Plus API. The API records each call as part of operating the service: time, IP address, a fingerprint of the token, the call and its result.

Who else receives the data

Only the providers named above: Amazon Web Services for hosting, Google for analytics if you allowed it, and Fonticons for icons. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the processing before. Write to contact@betiware.com.

You can also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky), Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava, dataprotection.gov.sk.
